I am new to posting blogs, so I am unsure how to write one effectively. Perhaps I should begin with the neighbourhood I am living in. I am in Godella which is a suburb of Valencia, it is a fairly residential part of the city with small streets and quiet residents. Near my apartment is a school and a park, a 5-10 minute walk away is the metro. I managed to find my school and am getting on well with the teachers there. I am sharing a house with two guys called Amar and Patrick. Amar is quiet and is always trying to improve his Spanish so will come out with random Spanish words on occasion, he has told us that he is a good baker and can make a good carrot cake. Patrick or Pat is an American from San Diego in California, he likes basketball and used to make films. Last night we made a Spaghetti Bolognaise and the other night we went for Tapas. We are all still settling in and finding our feet. I have heard back from a friend in Saville and apparently she is having a great time there, so hopefully she will send me some pictures. I'm going to leave it here as I have a lesson soon and need to prepare for that.
